Illegal Dumping: The Henry County Constables will be watching various illegal dump sites in Henry.Co. during the following year. Cameras will be used to identify violators. Anyone who is caught dumping will be cited to court with no exceptions. This is a public service for the County by the Constables. No dates or sites will be announced for obvious reasons. Anyone with info can contact Isaac Moore at 502 845-4820.
Farmers Market: Each Saturday from May through October at the Courthouse lawn in New Castle. For further information call 845-2811.
Call Before You Dig: AT&T's nation-wide Safety and Damage Protection Program. Call before you dig to prevent damages to fiber optic cables and other underground utilities. The AT&T Cable Hazard Center number is 1-800-252-1133. They are open 24 hours a day seven days a week. ALSO, you may visit their website at: Kentucky Underground Protection.
Dead Animal Removal: Kentucky Agriculture laws state that dead animals should be properly buried, properly incinerated or removed to a dead wagon type service. Through the efforts of the Henry County Agriculture leadership the is NO CHARGE for dead animal removal, a service sponsored by the Henry County Fiscal Court and the Henry County Conservation District. Call 1-800-633-5677 Monday through Friday to have dead animals removed at no charge.
